About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled RF Design Engineer to join our dynamic and growing organization. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in the design, development, testing, and implementation of advanced radio frequency systems and subsystems that support mission-critical defence and wireless communication applications. The role requires strong technical expertise in RF circuit design, system integration, performance analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with hardware, FPGA, software, and mechanical engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop RF systems, subsystems, and components for wireless communication and defence applications.
- Perform RF simulation, modeling, and analysis to meet system performance requirements.
- Conduct performance evaluation, testing, validation, and debugging of RF circuits and systems.
- Analyze RF system behavior and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Support integration, deployment, and qualification of new RF solutions and products.
- Design and optimize RF front-end circuits, including filters, amplifiers, mixers, and matching networks.
- Collaborate with Digital Hardware, FPGA/RTL, Software, and Mechanical Engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Prepare technical documentation, design reports, test procedures, and validation reports.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical recommendations for product improvement.
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality, regulatory, and customer requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience in RF Design Engineering.
- Experience in wireless communication systems and standards such as 4G/5G, Defence, Aerospace, or Tactical Communication Systems.
- Strong understanding of RF circuit design, antenna systems, propagation principles, and RF subsystem integration.
- Experience in RF simulation and analysis using MATLAB, Simulink, or similar engineering tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Defence Communication Systems.
- Exposure to Aerospace and Mission-Critical Communication Platforms.
- Knowledge of RF compliance, qualification, and environmental testing.
- Familiarity with EMI/EMC considerations in RF product design.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering environments.
