Role: Shopify Merchandising & Operations Executive (Part-Time)
Overview
Weβre looking for a Shopify-focused Merchandising & Operations Executive who can take
ownership of product performance, stock planning, and backend operations. This role is
heavily merchandising-driven, combined with Shopify expertise and strong operational
support.
This is not just an admin role; we need someone who understands how products sell, how to
plan inventory, and how to optimise the online store for performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Merchandising & Trading (Core Focus)
β Manage product merchandising across the Shopify store
β Analyse sales performance and generate regular reports
β Drive planning based on product performance and trends
β Handle stock forecasting and inventory planning
β Identify opportunities to improve product visibility and conversion
2. Shopify Backend & Integrations
β Manage and update products, collections, and website content
β Handle backend operations, including pricing, inventory, and product uploads
β Work on Shopify integrations (apps, tools, third-party systems)
β Troubleshoot and, where possible, resolve backend issues.
3. Website Administration
β Maintain overall website hygiene and accuracy
β Ensure collections, categories, and product listings are optimised
β Support promotional setups and campaign launches
4. Customer Support
β Handle customer queries across email and other channels
β Manage order issues, returns, and refunds
β Ensure a high standard of communication and customer experience
Requirements
β Strong hands-on experience with Shopify (essential)
β Proven experience in eCommerce merchandising (this is a priority)
β Comfortable working with sales data, reports, and forecasting
β Strong numerical and analytical skills
β Experience with stock planning and inventory management
β Understanding of Shopify integrations and apps
β Highly organised with attention to detail
β Strong communication skills (customer-facing experience required)
Nice to Have
β Experience in fashion or D2C eCommerce
β Familiarity with analytics tools and reporting dashboards
β Understanding of conversion optimisation and online trading
