We do have an opportunity for you as a Manager / Senior Manager - Private Equity Fund Accounting position and below is the JD.


Location : Hyderabad

Shift Timings : 2:00 PM IST to 11:00 PM IST and 3:00 PM IST to 12:00 PM IST


This role is responsible for end-to-end oversight of fund-level accounting for real estate funds, joint ventures, co-investments, and related investment vehicles. The Manager will partner closely with asset management, property management, tax, treasury, and investor relations teams to ensure timely reporting and strong internal controls.


Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for real estate funds and investment vehicles.
  • Review fund general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and NAV calculations.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including statements of assets and liabilities, operations, cash
  • flows, capital accounts, and supporting footnotes.
  • Manage capital calls, distributions, investor notices, and capital account maintenance.
  • Review waterfall models, promote calculations, preferred return computations, and investor allocations.
  • Oversee investor reporting, including quarterly reporting packs, performance metrics, and fund-level
  • updates.
  • Coordinate audits, tax filings, and support schedules with external auditors and tax advisors.
  • Review property-level inputs such as NOI, recoveries, rent roll data, depreciation, acquisition accounting,
  • and disposition gains or losses.
  • Monitor fund bank accounts, cash forecasts, and fund-level liquidity needs.
  • Ensure compliance with LPAs, JV agreements, side letters, internal policies, and applicable accounting
  • standards.
  • Lead and develop the fund accounting team, review workpapers, and drive process improvements and
  • automation initiatives.


Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Overall experience should be 15 years and minimum 8 – 12+ years of experience in private equity/real estate fund accounting, fund administration, or investment
  • management.
  • Strong knowledge of private equity/real estate fund structures, including JVs, SPVs, feeders, and co-investments.
  • Experience with US GAAP, partnership accounting, fair value accounting, and fund reporting requirements.
  • Proven experience with waterfalls, promote calculations, capital activity, and investor reporting.
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills; experience with fund accounting systems is an advantage.
  • Preferred qualifications
  • Experience managing teams and third-party administrators.
  • Exposure to real estate acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and portfolio accounting.
  • Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting for investment platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve reporting processes through automation and technology.
