Job Description
Our client, a well-established and growing financial services firm, is seeking an experienced Mortgage & Life Advisor to join its expanding mortgage division. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious advisor to work with a broad range of clients, from first-time buyers and home movers to those with more complex borrowing requirements.
The successful candidate will manage clients throughout the mortgage journey, providing tailored advice, building long‑term relationships and delivering an outstanding customer experience. The role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative, high‑performing team that values professionalism, client service and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert mortgage advice, helping clients understand their options and recommending the most suitable lending solutions.
- Conduct detailed financial assessments to evaluate affordability and identify appropriate mortgage products.
- Manage the end to end mortgage process, from initial consultation through to application, lender engagement and completion.
- Work closely with clients, lenders and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient customer journey.
- Ensure all applications are completed accurately and remain fully compliant with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
- Develop new mortgage and protection business through referrals, networking and self-generated opportunities.
- Maintain accurate CRM records while proactively managing the sales pipeline and referral activity.
- Support the ongoing development and improvement of mortgage processes and client service standards.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- A minimum of three years' experience as a Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker.
- QFA qualification as a minimum requirement.
- A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of the Irish mortgage market and regulatory framework.
- Experience supporting clients through the full mortgage process, from enquiry to completion.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- An analytical approach with the ability to assess complex financial information and recommend appropriate solutions.
