Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and technically capable Project Engineer to join a growing engineering team delivering commercial and industrial decarbonisation projects. The successful candidate will support the development, design, and delivery of large-scale energy projects, working closely with engineering, project management, and sales teams to provide innovative and efficient technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare conceptual project layouts using CAD and other relevant engineering software.
- Optimise project designs to maximise technical performance and commercial value.
- Analyse project data to assess resource requirements and project feasibility.
- Develop high-level energy models and estimate annual energy performance.
- Conduct pre-sales site surveys to assess site suitability and gather technical information.
- Carry out post-sales site visits to ensure installations are completed in accordance with design specifications.
- Support the preparation of technical proposals and project documentation.
- Collaborate with Project Management, Engineering, Sales, and Operations teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) procedures.
- Promote health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across all project activities.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience working on large-scale construction or engineering projects.
- Experience within the renewable energy, HVAC, or heat pump sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and make informed technical decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Full driving licence with willingness to travel as required.
- Knowledge of energy modelling and commercial building services.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and health & safety standards.
