About the Role

As a Trainee Truck Driver / Labourer, you will assist with product deliveries while learning the skills required to become a licensed truck driver. When delivery work is unavailable, you will work within our manufacturing facility, assisting with production and general labouring duties. This is a hands‑on role offering variety, practical experience, and a clear pathway into the transport industry.

The position involves physically handling water tanks and other products, with a strong focus on safe work practices at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completing local and regional deliveries using a small Iveco truck and trailer.
  • Undertake training to operate a MR truck.
  • Learn safe vehicle operation and transport procedures.
  • Safely load, secure, and unload products.
  • Comply with all Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.
  • Follow RMS/NHVR regulations and Fatigue Management Guidelines.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous approach when dealing with customers.
  • Support factory and production operations when deliveries are not scheduled.
  • Assist with assembly, manufacturing, packing, and general labouring tasks.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A genuine interest in building a career within the transport industry.
  • A willingness to obtain an MR Truck Licence with company support and training.
  • A current Australian driver's licence (minimum class C)
  • A forklift licence (advantageous but not essential).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a professional approach to work.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks.
  • Availability for overnight delivery runs as required.
