Project Finance Analyst

About the Role

Our client is a leading specialist in the deployment and maintenance of telecommunications and energy infrastructure, working with major operators and local providers across Ireland and the UK. With a growing portfolio of services and a team of over 4,000 employees, they are looking for a Project Finance Analyst to join their PMO team.

This is a great opportunity for a part-qualified or qualified accountant to gain exposure to large-scale infrastructure projects, working closely with project managers and finance leadership to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting across a diverse project portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the financial performance of multiple projects
• Support the PMO team with project budgets, forecasts, cashflow projections, and profitability analysis
• Review and audit project cost tracking – including travel, labour, supplier/services, materials, and equipment – on large‑scale ("hyperscale") projects
• Review and audit costs on smaller‑scale projects
• Ensure accurate allocation of costs and revenues to individual projects
• Maintain audit files for internal and external audit purposes
• Support the monthly revenue recognition process, including WIP (Work in Progress) calculations and accruals

What We're Looking For

• Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent)
• Experience supporting or working within project-based finance
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
• Highly motivated, able to manage multiple tasks with strong team collaboration skills
