Job Description
FLEXÉIR Facilities Services are recruiting an experienced Maintenance Technician based in the Dublin region. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of maintenance experience in both commercial and domestic environments. The successful candidate will need to work both independently and as part of a larger team providing a comprehensive general maintenance service.
This interesting and challenging role for a skilled maintenance technician includes the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance to our client sites.
There is a high level of client interaction and the candidate should have previous experience in a customer-facing role.

Based from our Dublin Office.
Job Description
- General maintenance repairs including basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing and ad hoc services.
- Work within FLEXÉIR-defined procedures, service routines and service schedules.
- Provide information and support to the client’s representatives, the FLEXÉIR supervisor and the contract manager.
- Ability to identify and resolve general building fabric and services problems.
- Ordering of replacement parts and stock control of key materials.
- Provide technical support and solutions to our clients.
- Professionally represent FLEXÉIR at all times.
- Complete planned calls and emergency breakdown reactive maintenance.
Experience & Requirements
- A demonstrated self-starter who can work on their own initiative.
- Excellent communication skills with strong written and verbal English.
- Good operational PC and technology skills with the ability to learn FLEXÉIR systems and platforms.
- Availability to work flexible hours and call out as required.
- A full and clean driving license is a necessity for this role.
- A positive and flexible approach to work and a willingness to engage with the client’s representatives, sub-contractors and colleagues.
- Experience of working in a maintenance or service environment.
- Able to troubleshoot issues and carry out fault finding to resolve issues.
- A high level of flexibility and ability to work without direct supervision.
