Lead, Interior Designer

About the role

As a Lead Interior Designer at Unfold, you’ll work closely with the design team in shaping the creative direction for projects. From understanding client briefs to building concepts, visual narratives, and presentations you’ll play an active role in bringing ideas to life. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants exposure not just to design, but also to execution, coordination, and real-world project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the conceptual design process across workplace projects
• Translate client briefs into zoning layouts, mood boards, sketches, and spatial concepts
• Prepare drawings, layouts, elevations, sections, and concept-level 3D views
• Use Revit and visualization tools to develop design presentations
• Curate materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and visual palettes
• Research global design trends, materials, and emerging workplace ideas
• Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and execution teams
• Visit sites for measurements, coordination, and design reviews
• Ensure design intent is maintained from concept through execution

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Spatial
• Design10+ years of design experience in Workplace Interiors, Commercial Design & Build, Office Fit-Outs, or Corporate Real Estate
• Strong visualization and storytelling ability
• Eye for aesthetics, detailing, and spatial planning
• Understanding of materials and construction feasibility
• Self-driven, collaborative, and eager to learn
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setup
