Sonography Clinical Applications Specialist – Ultrasound
About the Role
We are partnering with a leading medical device distributor to recruit a Clinical Applications Specialist to support its growing ultrasound division across Leinster.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sonographer or ultrasound professional looking to transition from a clinical setting into a commercial, customer-facing role while remaining closely connected to patient care and clinical excellence.
As a Clinical Applications Specialist, you will work directly with hospitals and healthcare professionals, delivering expert product training, clinical education, and ongoing application support for a portfolio of premium ultrasound systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver hands‑on clinical training to sonographers, radiographers, clinicians, and other end users following the installation of ultrasound systems.
- Provide ongoing applications support to hospitals and healthcare facilities throughout Leinster.
- Assist customers in optimising workflows and getting the most from their ultrasound equipment.
- Deliver product demonstrations and support clinical evaluations alongside the sales team.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clinical users, acting as a trusted technical advisor.
- Identify opportunities for additional training or equipment upgrades based on customer needs.
- Stay up to date with advances in ultrasound technology and clinical best practice.
- Represent the company professionally during customer visits, training sessions, workshops, and industry events.
About You
We are keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Experience working as a Sonographer or in a clinical ultrasound environment.
- Strong practical knowledge of ultrasound imaging and equipment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the confidence to deliver training to healthcare professionals.
- A genuine interest in moving into a more commercial, customer‑focused role.
- The ability to build strong relationships with clinicians and key hospital stakeholders.
- A full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel throughout Leinster on a daily basis.
- Experience delivering clinical education or mentoring colleagues.
- Previous exposure to ultrasound equipment manufacturers or medical device suppliers.
- Experience supporting multiple clinical departments or sites.
