Job Title: Financial Specialist of Brazil Subsidiary

Job Overview

We’re looking for a detail-oriented finance professional to manage the full range of financial operations for our Brazil branch. The ideal candidate will ensure full compliance with local tax laws, provide accurate financial reporting, and support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Tax Compliance: Manage all Brazilian tax obligations, including ICMS, IPI, PIS/COFINS, IRPJ/CSLL; prepare and submit tax returns; ensure timely payment and accurate tax planning.

• Accounting & Reporting: Handle daily bookkeeping, prepare statutory financial statements (BP, DRE, DFC), and report to headquarters for consolidation according to local GAAP and Chinese accounting standards.

• Document Review: Audit all company contracts and payment documents.

• Internal Controls: Manage accounts payable/receivable, inventory costs, and fixed assets; coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.

• Transfer Pricing: Ensure compliance with Brazilian transfer pricing regulations.

• Liaison: Act as the main contact between the local company and the Chinese headquarters regarding financial performance and budgeting.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; holding a valid CRC (Brazilian accounting certification) is a plus.

• Work Experience: At least 5 years in Brazilian accounting/finance, with experience in tax calculations and tax systems (SPED, ECD, ECF).

• Language: Fluent in English / native Portuguese (English is a must if non-native).

• Preferred: Experience working in Chinese companies or familiar with reporting to Asian headquarters.

• Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficient in ERP systems, and a good understanding of Brazilian payroll and labor obligations.
