Key responsibilities include: 

As a Teacher at Dominican School, you will:

  • Apply curriculum knowledge and teaching methods which facilitate successful learning.
  • Design differentiated and inclusive learning programs where data informs practice in your teaching.
  • Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages active participation and student growth.
  • Assess, record and report learner achievement using required programs and systems.
  • Be an energetic, positive, dynamic educator who is committed to engaging in professional dialogue and working collaboratively within a flexible learning environment.
  • Possess a deep knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and Crossways and utilise contemporary and engaging pedagogies which promote high levels of engagement and quality outcomes for all learners.
  • Communicate effectively to build positive partnerships with students, parents, colleagues, and the broader community. 

About You 

We are looking for someone with: 

  • Current Teacher Registration in South Australia 
  • Teacher Accreditation in Catholic Education SA.
  • Sound knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and pedagogies to promote learning for students.
  • Ability to establish highly engaging learning environments in and out of the classroom.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and effectively teach students to achieve required learning outcomes.
  • Excellent organisational skills with ability to problem solve and ensure required timelines are met.
  • Ability to utilise contemporary and engaging pedagogies to promote high levels of engagement and quality outcomes for all learners.
  • Proficient ICT skills and knowledge and ability to fully utilise required systems and programs, or ability to quickly learn and use effectively.
