Overview
As VP, Client Engagement you own the strategic, executive-facing relationship with a major global pharmaceutical client, accountable for revenue growth and long-term partnership. You connect client executives with OneSource leadership, balancing commercial goals with delivery credibility in a regulated setting. You drive cross-service expansion, governance, and portfolio alignment to ensure the client views OneSource as a trusted partner at the highest levels.
Responsibilities- Own and manage the primary commercial relationship for a global pharmaceutical client
- Build and sustain executive relationships with senior stakeholders across functions
- Serve as the client’s escalation point and strategic advisor for complex initiatives
- Lead executive governance cadence (QBRs, planning, long-range discussions)
- Meet annual revenue target and expand wallet across services/geographies
- Identify whitespace opportunities and convert opportunities into funded work
- Forecast accurately, maintain pipeline discipline, and manage CRM data
- Develop multi-year account strategy and lead cross-functional teams
- Align delivery capabilities with sales commitments and margins
- Ensure smooth project launches, risk management, and client satisfaction
- Mentor other senior account leaders and codify best practices
- Represent the client internally with discretion and credibility
- Contribute to executive-level commercial planning and governance forums
- Protect the client relationship and OneSource reputation when issues arise
- Foster accountability, transparency, and partnership across the account
- 15+ years in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or technical consulting environments
- Proven track record owning a large enterprise account with revenue responsibility
- Ability to operate credibly with global senior client executives
- Strong commercial judgment and consultative selling expertise
- Understanding of regulated environments and delivery realities
- Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred
- Willingness to travel extensively
