Job DescriptionTrade Counter Sales Limerick Permanent | Full-Time |Limerick Our client, a leading electrical wholesale business, is seeking an experiencedTrade Counter Salesprofessional to join their team in Limerick. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service and sales experience who enjoys working in a busy trade environment. The Role Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to customers both over the counter and by telephone.

You will use your product knowledge to advise customers, prepare quotations, process orders and identify opportunities to increase sales. Key responsibilities include: Dealing with customer enquiries and providing product advice and solutions. Preparing quotations and processing customer orders accurately.

Identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling and recommending alternative products. Maintaining strong knowledge of electrical products, pricing and promotions. Assisting with stock purchasing and ensuring customer requirements are met.

Working closely with colleagues to support the smooth running of the branch. Maintaining a high standard of customer service at all times. Carrying out general branch duties as required.

The Ideal Candidate Experience within electrical wholesale or knowledge of electrical products would be a strong advantage but if you have strong sales, trade counter, customer service, or relevant merchant/wholesale backgrounds this would suit Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Customer-focused with a proactive and commercial approach. Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail.

Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure. Good IT skills, including Word, Outlook and Excel. A strong team player with a positive attitude.

Forklift experience would be an advantage.
