Job DescriptionMaintenance Technician Premier Linen is seeking an experienced and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team and play a key role in maintaining and supporting our production facilities. This is a hands-on role within a busy industrial laundry environment, where you will be responsible for keeping production equipment operating safely and efficiently, carrying out preventative maintenance and responding quickly to mechanical and electrical faults. The Role As a Maintenance Technician, you will work closely with the production team to minimise equipment downtime and ensure machinery is maintained to a high standard.

You will work across a range of industrial equipment, including washing machines, dryers, ironers and conveyor systems. Key Responsibilities Carry out daily maintenance, repairs and servicing of production line equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.

Perform preventative maintenance to minimise breakdowns and production downtime. Inspect machinery and identify potential issues before they become major faults. Assemble, fit and test machine parts and sub-assemblies.

Support the implementation of maintenance programmes and schedules. Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs and work completed. Work closely with supervisors and external contractors to resolve technical issues efficiently.

Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and in line with company procedures and relevant Irish health and safety legislation. Comply with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and all relevant workplace safety requirements. Requirements 23 years' experience in a maintenance, engineering or similar technical role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Strong practical knowledge of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems. Experience working with industrial machinery or production equipment is highly desirable. Previous experience within a laundry, processing or similar production environment would be an advantage.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced production environment. Good attention to detail and a strong commitment to health and safety.

Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with the wider team.
