Job Description3rd Party Logistics and Inventory Lead Bailieborough/Newtownards Lakeland Dairies Co-operative Society Limited (The Group) is the second largest dairy processorontheislandofIreland.Thebusinessiscomplexandambitiouswithamilksupply pool of 2 billion litres of milk, drawn from over 3,200 family farms across 16 counties. Theopportunity: We are seeking a3rd Party Logistics & Inventory Leadto join our Supply Chain team and play a critical role in driving warehouse performance, inventory management, and third-party logistics excellence across our network. The 3PL Inventory Lead is responsible for maximising the efficiency of a defined cluster of third-party warehouses and the management of held inventory.

This role will provide a primary point of contact between the individual warehouses and the business, allow for a focus on strategic placement of product, cost monitoring and performance improvement. What does success look like in the role? (Not limited to) Lead and develop the small 3PL inventory team (2 people incl you), supporting a culture of continuous improvement within the team Manage the relationship with 3PL providers to ensure the best service possible to our customer base; regular monitoring visits to 3PLs Be the go-to person for escalation & resolution of daily 3PL issues Monitor and manage logistics costs to ensure Lakeland bill is as efficient as possible Oversee agreed periodic stock reconciliations with each warehouse, which align with business requirements and are underpinned with documented processes. Own and understand the monthly performance of all warehouse activity.

Ownership of the complaints process which should include a review and acceptance procedure, accountability, corrective actions & timelines. What will you bring to the role? At Least 3 years experience in the area of Logistics & Supply Chain, especially warehousing.

A strong aptitude for Logistics IT systems and innovation of intuitive user interfaces. Strong Computer literacy in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel & a working knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP process. Organised and methodical, with excellent attention to detail.
