Senior Engineer – NPI & Mechanical Engineering

Job Description Designation : Senior Engineer – NPI & Mechanical Engineering Work Location: Hyderabad Organization: Cyient DLM Limited Industry: Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) Key Responsibilities: • Own end-to-end NPI execution for mechanical parts and assemblies. • Hands on experience in Motor Assembly process and setup motor assy manufacturing line. • Lead DFM/DFA/DFMEA and risk mitigation activities. • Define assembly sequences, tooling concepts, and inspection strategies. • Drive prototype, FAI, pilot, and production readiness builds. • Lead supplier-side development of mechanical parts. • Review supplier process capability vs drawing requirements. • Conduct supplier technical reviews and audits. • Validate FAIR, dimensional reports, and compliance documents. • Own AS9100 documentation and audit readiness. • Lead root cause analysis (RCA), 8D, and corrective actions. • Mentor junior engineers. • Interface with customers during design and build reviews. Mandatory Requirements: • BE / BTech in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering. • 4–6 years of experience in mechanical & motor assembly • Strong NPI or manufacturing engineering background. • Strong GD&T and tolerance analysis capability. • Supplier development experience.
