Job Description
What You'll Be Doing As part of our collaborative IT team, you will:
- Designing and developing data models, ETL pipelines and data integration processes by integrating data from various sources (databases, APIs, streaming platforms, etc.)
- Ensuring every DWH process precision, efficiency and scalability through monitoring, tuning and optimizing the platform.
- Help expanding data models of our Data Warehouse and our Data Marts by designing robust structures, tables, and objects.
- Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and governance standards.
- Design and build impactful Power BI reports and dashboards (Operational, Strategic & Analytical).
- Define and implement best practices, guidelines, and repeatable processes to drive efficiency and quality.
- Deliver insights that help the business monitor KPIs and make informed, data-driven decisions.
What We're Looking For (Hard Skills):
- Solid understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and Modern DWH architecture.
- Public Cloud experience (great understanding of Compute, Storage, Networking, Identity, etc).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.
- Professional experience of configuring and running Databricks on any public cloud (Azure is preferred).
- Strong experience with ETL processes dealing with big amounts of data.
- Strong expertise with SQL Server and performance optimization.
- Good knowledge and experience with Fabric and PostgreSQL are strong differentiation points.
- Proficiency in developing and tuning Power BI dashboards.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in an Enterprise environment OR 7 years in any industry sector.
- At least a secondary school qualification (A-Levels or equivalent).
- Fluency in English and Portuguese. Spanish language knowledge is a big plus.
