What we are looking for:

Applications are invited from qualified and enthusiastic educators to join the teaching staff of St Patrick's College, Mackay. This is a full‑time contract position to commence Term 3, 2026 until 17 January 2027 or as negotiated with the successful applicant.

Qualifications and experience required:

• Relevant tertiary qualification
• Registered teacher who can teach Mathematics
• Eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
• Experience in a Catholic education context and a desire to serve the communities located within the diocese of Rockhampton
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and the ability to obtain approved Queensland College of Teachers registration

Key responsibilities:

• Provide quality education and care for secondary school students at St Patrick's College.
• Understand Catholic Education’s mission and integrate Catholic values into the curriculum.
• Design differentiated teaching strategies and use data to guide learning and improvement.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and the community.
• Implement various assessment strategies and provide constructive feedback.
