SAP Sales & Distribution Senior Consultant

Title: SAP Sales & Distribution Senior Consultant Experience: 8+ Years Need Immediate Joiners. Job Summary Rockwoods is looking for an expert SAP SD professional with significant experience in module setup, cross-functional integration, and operational support. The successful candidate will have led at least two full-cycle implementations in either ECC or S/4HANA environments.

This role demands a mastery of Order-to-Cash processes, pricing logic, and S/4HANA innovations, alongside the ability to manage complex technical integrations. Key Responsibilities Design and manage Order-to-Cash (OTC) workflows, covering everything from initial sales entry and pricing to credit validation, shipping, and invoicing. Establish and maintain complex pricing structures, condition logic, tax calculation rules, and revenue recognition protocols.

Deploy and manage Variant Configuration (VC) and integrate Bill of Materials (BOM) for specialized manufacturing needs. Configure essential system parameters including partner roles, communication outputs, text elements, and data completion checks. Oversee Availability Check (ATP), Transfer of Requirements (TOR), and logistical delivery timelines.

Administer specialized automotive supply chain scenarios such as returns, intercompany transactions, consignment, third-party sales, and subcontracting. Manage rebate structures and modern S/4HANA settlement and incentive programs. Execute standard and advanced business processes including Rush orders, Export protocols, and Free-of-Delivery (FOD) cycles.

Coordinate seamless integration between SD and other core modules like Procurement (MM), Finance (FI), Warehouse Management (WM), and Production (PP). Implement and troubleshoot EDI/IDoc interfaces and ALE links tailored to automotive industry standards. Utilize S/4HANA specific features such as the Business Partner (CVI) model, Fiori-based sales applications, and advanced Billing Management.

Draft detailed functional specifications for custom enhancements and collaborate with ABAP teams on BAPIs, BADIs, and User Exits. Lead comprehensive testing phases, including Unit, System Integration (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Provide high-level technical support (L1/L2/L3) for system incidents, performance tuning, and critical issue resolution.

Required Skills & Experience Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in SAP SD with at least two end-to-end implementation projects. Extensive knowledge of S/4HANA SD functionalities and modern Fiori interfaces. Proficient in technical troubleshooting, including system log analysis and basic debugging.

Strong background in automotive supply chain processes and EDI standards. Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders. Experience in the cosmetics industry or official SAP SD certifications is considered a significant plus.
