Sales Engineer - Laser Machine

Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities in industries such as automotive, fabrication, electronics, and manufacturing. Achieve monthly and annual sales targets. Generate leads through cold calling, site visits, exhibitions, and references.

Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations. Technical Support & Solution Selling: Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable laser machine solutions (cutting, engraving, welding, marking). Provide pre-sales technical consultation and post-sales support.

Coordinate with application and service teams for machine trials and installations. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients. Handle customer queries, negotiations, and closing deals.

Ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business. Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies. Provide feedback to management for product improvements and strategy planning.

Documentation & Reporting: Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales reports. Maintain CRM records and sales pipeline updates. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

MBA in Sales/Marketing (preferred but not mandatory). Required Skills: Strong technical knowledge of industrial machines (laser cutting, CNC, automation preferred). Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to understand engineering drawings and applications. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools. Willingness to travel extensively.

Experience: 2–6 years of experience in industrial equipment/machinery sales (preferably laser or CNC machines).
