Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. We are looking for a highly driven SDR to own outbound lead generation for US-based clients in product development, industrial design, and medical device companies.
The responsibilities include generating leads, identifying and qualifying potential clients, organizing and managing sales outreach efforts, and building strong relationships with current and prospective customers. The role also requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to align sales efforts with business goals and strategies. Outbound Lead Generation (Primary KPI) Identify and build lists of US-based target companies (product design firms, startups, medtech companies) Use tools like Apollo.io, LinkedIn, and manual research Run structured outbound campaigns: Cold calls (daily) Cold emails LinkedIn outreach Maintain daily activity targets (calls, emails, connections) Cold Calling and Prospecting Call US prospects during their business hours Deliver a structured pitch around engineering support services Handle objections and qualify interest Convert conversations into scheduled discovery calls Lead Qualification and Handover Qualify leads based on: Current workload / bandwidth issues Need for external engineering support Budget and decision-making authority Ensure only high-quality, relevant leads are passed to the founder Book meetings directly into calendar Intern Management Supervise and guide marketing interns (lead generation + outreach support) Assign daily tasks: Data scraping List building CRM updates Ensure data quality and relevance Train interns on messaging, targeting, and tools CRM and Pipeline Management Maintain accurate records in CRM (Apollo / spreadsheets / ClickUp) Track: Leads contacted Follow-ups Meeting conversions Ensure consistent follow-ups (no lead leakage) Continuous Optimization Improve scripts, messaging, and targeting based on response rates Test subject lines, call openings, and positioning Provide weekly insights: What’s working What’s not Suggested improvements Daily Targets (Indicative) 40–80 cold calls 50–100 emails / LinkedIn touches 5–10 qualified conversations 2–4 meetings booked (These are not fixed but give a benchmark for performance expectations.) Required Skills and Experience 1–3 years in B2B outbound sales / SDR role (preferably US market) Strong communication skills (clear, confident English) Comfortable with cold calling and rejection Experience with tools like Apollo.io, LinkedIn, CRM tools / spreadsheets, etc.
Ability to understand basic technical/engineering concepts (mechanical/product development preferred) Proficiency in Sales and Lead Generation techniques. Experience in Sales and Business Development, with the ability to strategize and close deals. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently to meet targets. Passion for problem-solving and understanding customer needs. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
