Sales Development Representative
Location: New York, NY or Chicago, IL
Work with the global Sales team to aid and analytics for potential New Logo targets. Be proficient in identifying targets for cold calling. Record activity on cold calling and pass active opportunities to team members.
Utilize market data for lead generation, i.e. Prequin. Creating central hub of new opportunity logos for further consideration.
Map trends of upcoming fund launches. Generate, update, and provide lead generation reports to the global Sales & RM team. Analyze sales data to identify trends and key points.
Centralize general industry, regulatory, and information on new target logos. Update and maintain campaign lists. Update and maintain sales pipeline targets.
Create, maintain and improve new sale target materials. Actively participate in deal reviews.
Bachelor's degree. Knowledge and experience within the alternative industry, the business and service needs of industry participants, and an understanding of the global service delivery models with specific reference to alternative vehicles. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to foster positive interaction with internal parties.
Sales-oriented thought processes and skills. Project Management skills. Strong analytical skills and cross functional knowledge to assess opportunities and implement process improvements.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced working environment. Familiarity with MS Office programs. Experience with Salesforce.
Excellent attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $70,000/year depending on location and experience.
