About the Role As our new Sales Development Lead in Bangalore, your primary role will be to oversee lead generation strategies, mentor SDRs, and drive overall team performance. You'll coach the team on prospecting fundamentals, maintain execution standards, and ensure consistent performance against targets while working closely with sales leadership to scale our lead generation engine in India.
What You'll Do Develop deep mastery of Tumodo's product, ICP, and value proposition to reinforce clarity, accuracy, and precision across the SDR team in India. Coach and train the team on lead qualification, workflow execution, prospecting strategy, objection handling, and multi-channel outreach, while identifying high-performing outreach patterns and scaling proven tactics to elevate and maintain execution to a tier-one standard. Maintain a high-performing culture by supporting daily SDR execution and ensuring performance targets and key performance metrics are met.
Report on SDR performance, KPIs, and forecasts to senior leadership with clarity and accuracy. Work in close partnership with Head of Sales, Senior Sales Managers and Sales Operations Manager to enhance team execution and operational excellence. Ensure alignment and seamless communication between the SDR team and Sales Managers, implementing prospecting strategies across channels such as cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and more.
Conduct market analysis to stay ahead of trends and competitors, equipping your team to deliver compelling value propositions. Ensure accurate and up-to-date CRM data, leading by example in maintaining high standards for record-keeping and sales reporting. What You Bring 3+ years of experience exceeding outbound targets in B2B SaaS, with at least 1 year of SDR lead or management experience.
Proven track record of mentoring and managing SDR teams to achieve or exceed targets. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to engage and inspire team members. Strong experience in initiating conversations and closing opportunities via cold outreach.
Proficient in CRM systems and sales tools like Gong, Apollo, Hunter, Expandi, LinkedIn, Hubspot, etc. Familiarity with Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Hubspot and modern sales tooling. Ability to analyze data, identify areas of improvement, and implement strategies to boost team performance.
