Research Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Cover and develop expertise in assigned sectors and companies.
• Identify and track investment opportunities across large-cap, mid-cap, and small-cap stocks.
• Conduct detailed fundamental research, financial analysis, and company valuations.
• Monitor macroeconomic, industry, and company-specific developments impacting investments.
• Present sector and stock views in investment and research meetings.
• Provide actionable stock recommendations and support fund managers in investment decisions.
• Generate new investment ideas, themes, and research-driven opportunities.
• Engage with company managements, regulators, industry participants, and analyst forums.
• Build and maintain relationships with sell-side analysts and assess the viability of their investment ideas.
• Maintain an objective recommendation tracking framework and contribute to portfolio performance.

Qualifications

• MBA (Finance), CA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong academic background in finance, economics, or related fields.

Experience

• 8-10 years of overall relevant work experience (Large part & current experience in the IT sector is mandatory)
• Exposure to equity mutual funds or macro research.
• Experience preparing market commentary, client presentations, or fund analytics is preferred.
