Registered Nurse in Patient Education

Become a vital member of patient care at Providence Health Care as a Registered Nurse focused on patient learning. In this role, you will assess needs, implement care plans, and promote health education. As a Staff Nurse reporting to the Patient Care Manager, you will assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care while supporting individual and group teaching.

Your responsibilities will also include monitoring patient progress and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care and adherence to BCCNM Standards of Practice. Key Responsibilities: • Assess and evaluate patient/resident needs and health status • Develop, implement, and revise nursing care plans • Provide direct nursing care in critical situations • Lead educational sessions for patients and families • Collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal care Requirements: • Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse in BC • Two years related nursing experience • CPR certification and crisis management skills • Effective communication and teamwork skills • Ability to lead educational groups and manage patient needs Utilize your clinical judgment and expertise to foster patient learning and support their health journey at Providence Health Care. #J-18808-Ljbffr
