Job Description
Become a vital member of patient care at Providence Health Care as a Registered Nurse focused on patient learning. In this role, you will assess needs, implement care plans, and promote health education. As a Staff Nurse reporting to the Patient Care Manager, you will assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care while supporting individual and group teaching.
Your responsibilities will also include monitoring patient progress and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care and adherence to BCCNM Standards of Practice. Key Responsibilities: โข Assess and evaluate patient/resident needs and health status โข Develop, implement, and revise nursing care plans โข Provide direct nursing care in critical situations โข Lead educational sessions for patients and families โข Collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal care Requirements: โข Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse in BC โข Two years related nursing experience โข CPR certification and crisis management skills โข Effective communication and teamwork skills โข Ability to lead educational groups and manage patient needs Utilize your clinical judgment and expertise to foster patient learning and support their health journey at Providence Health Care. #J-18808-Ljbffr
