Overview
In this regional field role, you drive growth for electronic components across the Southwest by winning new business and expanding key accounts. You’ll work with design engineers, buyers and product teams to turn concepts into production specifications. Your focus is building a strong project pipeline and converting it into sustainable territory growth through consultative, technically informed selling.
You will travel across the Southwest and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs. This role offers hands-on influence in shaping product proposals and long-term customer relationships.

- Develop new business with OEMs and design teams across the Southwest
- Grow existing accounts through regular customer visits and future project planning
- Identify opportunities to specify electronic components into new product designs
- Collaborate with design engineers, procurement teams and internal specialists to propose solutions
- Manage projects through design, testing and production cycles
- Reactivate dormant accounts and cultivate relationships with high-potential prospects
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, project records and market intelligence
- Deliver territory sales and profitability targets
- At least three years’ experience in technical B2B sales with ability to learn technical products and sell consultatively
- Understanding of design-in, specification sales or long-cycle technical projects
- Comfort discussing customer applications with engineers and commercial requirements with buyers
- Track record of developing new business while growing existing accounts
- Strong communication, relationship-building and territory management skills
- Electronics or engineering industry experience is useful but not essential
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the territory
