QA Associate Analyst Enterprise Systems
About the Role:
We are looking for a QA Associate Analyst to support quality validation across our enterprise and ERP platforms, including Merchandising, Planning, Product Creation, Inventory, and
related integrations. This is an early-career, hands-on role focused on building strong testing fundamentals, understanding enterprise business workflows, and learning how large-scale systems interact. You
will execute test cases, validate data and workflows, log defects, and support regression and end-to-end testingwhile learning automation and modern quality practices under guidance. This role is ideal for individuals starting their career in Quality Engineering who want to grow into more technical, automation-focused QE roles over time.
What Youll Do:
Execute Hands-On Testing for Enterprise Systems:
- Execute manual and exploratory test cases for enterprise applications and workflows.
- Validate features against acceptance criteria, business rules, and documented requirements.
- Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains stable as changes are introduced.
- Support end-to-end testing across systems that exchange data or depend on shared configurations.
Support Data & Integration Validation:
- Validate data accuracy across screens, reports, interfaces, and downstream systems.
- Assist in testing batch jobs, scheduled processes, and integration hand-offs.
- Compare expected vs. actual results for calculations, rules, and configuration-driven behavior.
- Help identify data mismatches, missing records, or processing errors.
Participate as Part of an Agile Team:
- Participate in sprint ceremonies such as stand-ups, refinement, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product partners to clarify requirements.
- Ask questions early to ensure test scenarios are well understood before execution.
- Communicate testing progress, risks, and defects clearly.
Support Automation & Modern Quality Practices (Under Guidance):
- Execute existing automated tests and report failures or flakiness.
- Assist senior QEs and developers with test data setup for automation.
- Learn API testing, basic scripting, and automation frameworks used by the team.
- Contribute to improving regression coverage over time.
Defect Tracking & Continuous Learning:
- Log clear, actionable defects with reproduction steps and evidence.
- Re-test fixes and validate resolutions.
- Review production issues to understand root causes and prevention opportunities.
- Build domain knowledge of enterprise systems and business processes continuously.
What You Bring:
Required Qualifications:
- 23 years of experience in software testing, QA, or a related role.
- Understanding of basic software testing concepts (test cases, defects, regression).
- Exposure to manual testing of business or backend systems.
- Basic familiarity with APIs, data validation, or SQL concepts (academic or practical).
- Exposure to enterprise systems, ERP platforms, or data-driven applications(Oracle ERP/SAP/Microsoft Dynamics).
- Comfortable working with test management or defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, qTest).
- Good at Debugging and root cause analysis
- Willingness to learn complex systems and ask questions.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability in executing assigned work.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have;
- Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON payloads.
- Basic scripting or automation exposure (JavaScript, Python, or similar).
- Experience working in Agile teams.
- Interest in growing toward Quality Engineer or Software Engineering roles.
