Snowflake Technical Lead

Our client is looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake, SQL, Azure Synapse and modern data engineering. The role involves designing scalable data pipelines, transformations and data warehouse solutions on Azure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines, ELT processes and transformations using Snowflake.
• Work extensively with SQL, Snowflake and Azure Synapse.
• Build and maintain data warehouse and dimensional models including Star and Snowflake schemas.
• Develop batch and streaming data pipelines with orchestration.
• Implement version control using Git and support basic CI/CD for data workloads.
• Establish data-quality, monitoring and observability practices.
• Design and consume APIs and manage data contracts.
• Work with Azure cloud data platforms and container/orchestration technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and optimize data solutions.

Required Skills

• 7–10 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise in SQL and Snowflake.
• Good knowledge of Azure Synapse.
• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing & Dimensional Modeling.
• Experience with ELT/ETL, streaming pipelines and orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of data quality, monitoring and observability.
• Good understanding of APIs and data contracts
