Job Description

Activities: Manage the area to obtain better purchasing conditions for products sold by the company, in terms of prices, quality and service; Deliver the expected Cash (days to pay) and Savings Targets; In charge of the reporting (projects KPI’s, forecast, savings…) related to the region;

Support the development of suppliers of materials and services for the factories you manage, as well as in any necessary negotiations. Control and prepare reports on the indicators of the purchasing area and the performance of the team itself (savings, payment days, response time, among others). Be the intermediary between requesters, buyers and suppliers, whenever necessary. Plan, support, facilitate and manage the team (individually and jointly). Evaluate the team's performance, requesting/performing training according to the needs identified, as well as meeting everyone frequently, in order to build a cohesive team. Frequently present the area's activities and results to the factory directors/managers for monitoring and continuous improvement. In charge of Supplier Relationship management in the category, checking the performance of all suppliers on the panel and make sure the improvement with a robust action plan; Contribute toprovide market review information and data for the Senior Management on time (e.G. RFQ results, budget control, workshops implementation etc.); Collect needsfrom thedifferent sites via the local buyers sites’ network /operations teams from all entities, challenge them and introduce alternatives into the current Sourcing Portfolio;

Actively participate in customer and ISO 9000 audits. This action must be prepared in advance, with control of documentation and evidence of compliance with our processes. Perform other related activities at the discretion of your immediate superior and/or in relation to the procedures of your work process, and/or in relation to the integrated management system procedure. Remain committed to the company's policies, constantly following pre-established standards and procedures, aiming to guarantee customer satisfaction. Job Specifications: Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering or Business - Master’s in Business, Industrial or consulting background is a bonus 10+ years experience in Purchasing Minimum of 5 years of experience in MRO, Capex and Opex market Multi-cultural awareness Team work Fluent in English (mandatory). Spanish is a plus. Ability to influence and get buy-in in a "dotted-line" situation Understands Business needs Ability to travel
