Role Description This is a part-time, remote Project Manager role responsible for overseeing automation and control system projects from planning through completion. The Project Manager will coordinate project scope, timelines, and budgets, ensuring deliverables meet technical requirements and quality standards.
Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing resources, managing communication among engineering, logistics, and client stakeholders, and tracking progress against project milestones. The role involves monitoring risks, preparing status reports, and facilitating issue resolution to maintain schedule and cost commitments. The Project Manager will also support documentation efforts and contribute to process improvements that enhance project execution and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Project Management, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder communication.
- Candidates should possess skills in Expeditor and Expediting to track materials, follow up on vendor commitments, and ensure timely delivery of project components.
- Candidates should possess skills in Inspection to review deliverables, verify compliance with specifications, and support quality control processes.
- Candidates should possess skills in Logistics Management to coordinate shipments, manage inventory related to projects, and optimize supply chain activities.
- Relevant qualifications include experience managing technical or engineering projects, preferably in automation, controls, or industrial systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills, with proficiency in common project management and collaboration tools.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams and clients.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial technology, business, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience in project coordination or management is also valued.
