Job Description

We are looking for Production Technicians to assemble, solder and test our devices to a documented quality standard. You will be building the actual units that reach babies in hospitals across India and beyond, which means the care you take at the bench has a direct clinical consequence.

This is a hands-on role in our Bangalore production facility, and we are hiring for multiple positions.

What You'll Do

  • Assemble electromechanical sub-assemblies and finished devices to documented work instructions.
  • Carry out through-hole and surface-mount soldering and rework to a consistent, inspectable standard.
  • Run functional and electrical tests on finished units, identify failures and route them for rework or analysis.
  • Complete batch records, test logs and traceability documentation accurately and on time.
  • Follow our quality management system, including cleanliness, ESD handling and calibration requirements.
  • Carry out incoming inspection of components and flag non-conforming material.
  • Maintain your workstation, tools and fixtures, and report anything out of calibration or worn.
  • Suggest improvements to assembly steps, fixtures and test methods that raise yield or reduce build time.

Requirements

  • 1 to 4 years of hands-on experience in electromechanical assembly, electronics manufacturing or medical device production.
  • Demonstrated soldering skill, including fine pitch work; IPC certification is a plus.
  • Experience running functional or electrical tests and interpreting the results.
  • Working familiarity with quality systems and production documentation; exposure to ISO 13485 is a strong advantage.
  • Careful, methodical and comfortable with repetitive precision work.
  • Able to read assembly drawings, bills of material and work instructions.
  • ITI, Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical or a related discipline.

Benefits

  • Building a product with a direct and measurable impact on newborn survival.
  • Working closely with our engineering and quality teams, not isolated on a line.
  • Training on medical device quality systems and ISO 13485 practice.
  • Health insurance and statutory benefits as applicable.

Start Date: As soon as possible.
