SummaryThe Production Manager is a key player in delivering technical elements for live, hybrid, and virtual events. They collaborate with the creative team to provide innovative, technical solutions from concept to execution, ensuring projects meet client briefs and budgets. The role involves managing technical crews and suppliers on-site and overseeing the entire production process.
\nResponsibilitiesManage all technical production elements of events from start to finish, focusing on innovative solutions.
\nCreate and manage detailed pre-production schedules and coordinate with suppliers to meet deadlines.
\nConduct site inspections, guide venue selection, and monitor construction of set items for smooth operations. Oversee on-site technical elements, ensuring safety and flawless event delivery.
\nNegotiate with suppliers to ensure favorable rates and added value for clients.
\nManage project budgets, delivering to financial targets and enhancing margins.
\nPrepare written proposals, attend client meetings, and develop client relationships.
\nEnsure compliance with health and safety policies and maintain knowledge of regulations.
\nCollaborate with teams to ensure effective client project delivery and stay updated on industry innovations.
\nRequired
\nSkillsHighly organized with attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure.
\nStrong technical knowledge across production disciplines and new product offerings.
\nExperience in budget control and management of production costs.
\nSkilled in negotiating and maintaining a broad network of suppliers.
\nExcellent communication skills and ability to delegate effectively.
\nProficiency in Office 365 and understanding of software like AutoCAD, Vectorworks, and Adobe Suite.

\nQualifications & ExperienceMinimum of four years of technical experience in theatre, live events, or a related industry.
\nProven experience in managing exhibition stands, conferences, and various events.
\nInternational work experienceDegree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience is desirable.
