Job Description
Overview The Product Analyst is responsible for partnering with the product management team and senior leadership to guide product strategy through data-driven insights. This includes leading the development of dashboards, conducting in-depth market and competitive analysis, supporting and advising on product launches, and proactively identifying gaps in product offering and member needs. The role translates complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for decision makers across the organization.
Responsibilities Lead the design, automation, and delivery of monthly and ad-hoc reporting on product performance, revenue, cost metrics, and member behavior, enabling senior leadership to make time, strategic decisions. Integrate and validate data from multiple internal and external systems, ensuring accuracy and constancy for enterprise reporting, strategic planning, and compliance. Liaise directly with stakeholders to resolve data integrity issues and enhance reporting quality.
Develop automated reports and automate current routine reports to improve efficiency. Assist with various product related initiatives including but not limited to pricing analysis, collateral material, product dashboard, etc. Support key product launch and implementation.
Conduct market and competitive research to identify opportunity alongside Product Managers. Conduct member research to identify key member pain points. Provide accurate ad hoc reporting when requested by business line and product management stakeholders.
Collaborate with business development to analyze member and market data providing insights and strategic recommendations that support organizational growth goals. Partner with marketing to evaluate and optimize campaign performance, leveraging product and member data to improve targeting, conversion, and ROI. Onboard, train, and provide ongoing guidance for analysts ensuring the consistency in analytics processes, data interpretation, and reporting standards.
Serve as a cross-functional analytics resource for initiatives that span across the marketing division. Perform other related duties as requested and special projects as assigned. Requirements Bachelor’s degree (BA, BS, BBA, etc.) required or a minimum of five years directly related experience.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in the banking industry working and strong knowledge & understanding of financial products (Consumer Deposit & Lending products). Strong reporting, decision making, analytical and problem-solving skills. Highly flexible and able to quickly adapt to changing priorities.
Ability to perform in a high-volume environment and meet deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Technical Skills: Intermediate proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, conditionals, data models, linear regression modeling, VLOOKUP, INDEXMATCH, etc.) required, familiarity in database querying (SQL, Power BI), advanced ETL in Power Query, and DAX. Benefits The pay range for this position is between $93,200-155,790 annually.
Actual base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Employees in this position may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus, 401(k) with a 6% employer match per pay period. Benefits for this position include medical, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance, flexible paid time off and 11 paid holidays annually.
