Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, integrate, and maintain powertrain software features using MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow
  • Support Model-Based Development (MBD) activities, including feature implementation, optimization, and validation
  • Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to ensure robust feature performance
  • Develop automation scripts and tools to improve engineering efficiency and software quality
  • Support AUTOSAR-compliant software development and auto code generation activities using RTW and TargetLink
  • Execute and support MIL, SIL, Unit Testing, and HIL validation activities
  • Review technical artifacts and ensure compliance with development processes, coding standards, and quality guidelines
  • Collaborate with customers and global engineering teams through technical reviews, Agile ceremonies, and project discussions


What We're Looking For

  • 4–7 years of experience in automotive embedded software development
  • Strong hands-on experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow
  • Experience with Model-Based Development (MBD)
  • Experience with auto code generation tools, including RTW and TargetLink
  • Knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture and software development concepts
  • Experience with MIL, SIL, and Unit Testing
  • Understanding of embedded software development processes and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.)
  • Experience with requirements analysis, specification, and feature development
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with MATLAB scripting (M-Scripting)
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline


Nice To Have

  • Experience in Powertrain Controls, Control Systems, or Performance Control applications
  • Knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, SPI, UART, and I2C
  • Familiarity with CAN tools and network analysis
  • Experience with NI VeriStand or other HIL platforms
  • Exposure to Functional Safety (ISO 26262)
  • Experience with AUTOSAR-based feature development projects
  • Automotive calibration experience
