Role Description The Piano Teacher at Thinkin’ Piano will provide structured, engaging piano lessons to students across different age groups and skill levels. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and conducting individual or small-group classes, teaching piano technique, sight-reading, and music theory, and preparing students for recitals, exams, or performances. The role involves assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, maintaining clear lesson records, and communicating regularly with learners and guardians about goals and development.
The teacher will also contribute to curriculum planning, participate in events organized by the center, and support a positive, inclusive studio environment. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai (Andheri).
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong practical skills in Piano Playing and Piano performance.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Piano Education and Music Education, with experience teaching diverse age groups.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Music Theory and its application to piano instruction.
- Candidates should possess the ability to design structured lesson plans and adapt teaching methods to individual learning styles.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree, diploma, or formal certification in music or piano are preferred.
- Strong communication, patience, and classroom management skills are essential.
- Experience preparing students for graded music exams, competitions, or performances is an advantage.
- Commitment to maintaining an inclusive, respectful learning environment and collaborating with colleagues is expected.
