Role Description The Mathematics Teacher will deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students following diverse national and international curricula, ensuring clarity of concepts and strong problem-solving skills. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and structuring lessons, customizing instructional strategies to individual learner needs, assigning and reviewing practice work, and providing timely feedback on student performance. The role involves using digital tools and online platforms to conduct live sessions, track progress, and collaborate with other educators and counselors for integrated academic support.

The teacher will also communicate regularly with parents or guardians, participate in curriculum enhancement initiatives, and uphold Adar Learning’s student-first and inclusive teaching standards. This is a part-time, hybrid role based in India, with the flexibility to work from home for online sessions and planning activities.

Qualifications

• Strong subject-matter expertise in Mathematics and understanding of school-level and pre-university mathematical concepts.

Prior experience teaching curricula such as IGCSE, A/ AS level, IBDP, or international test preparation (e.g., SAT, PSAT, AP) is mandatory.

• Proficiency in Mathematics Education and Lesson Planning, with the ability to design interactive, learner-centered sessions.
• Experience or training as a Qualified Teacher, with familiarity in Curriculum Development for national and international boards.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related field.
• Comfort with online teaching platforms, digital whiteboards, and educational technology tools.
• Clear, student-friendly communication skills and the ability to explain complex ideas in simple terms.
• Demonstrated commitment to inclusivity, ethics, and student well-being, with sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
