Purpose The Operations Manager will spearhead day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless coordination of goods from induction to delivery. This role is the backbone of our operational strategy, driving performance and meeting KPI targets. Accountabilities Managing and coordinating operational activities including induction, sortation, route planning, returns, dispatch, and on-road delivery support.

Overall accountability for the delivery station’s performance and KPI achievement. Leading a dedicated team of supervisors, dispatchers, and vendors to foster teamwork, performance and continuous improvement. Developing and implementing innovative strategies to optimize operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Ensuring the seamless running of the station and providing hands‑on support to the team as needed. Coaching and mentoring staff, overseeing performance, and implementing corrective actions to meet KPI targets. Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders for a cohesive operational approach.

Advocating safe driving and station safety practices. Effectively delegating tasks and coordinating preventative maintenance for facility equipment. Ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety standards.

Utilizing the full suite of Fleet Optics software including phone app, online portal, and tracking page. Skills and Qualifications Minimum two (2) years of supervisory/managerial experience in operations, preferably in transportation and logistics. Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and inspire a high‑performing team.

Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to navigate complex operational challenges. Post‑secondary education in logistics, supply chain, or operations is an asset. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Some understanding of IT is preferred. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Results‑oriented mindset with a keen focus on meeting and exceeding KPIs.

Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Geographical knowledge of the Lower Mainland Area is preferred. Workplace and Physical Requirements Work in a fast‑paced environment and make effective decisions.
