Sales & Marketing Manager โ€“ Automotive Sector Location: Pune, Maharashtra Industry: Auto / Auto Components Reports to Executive Director Our client is looking for a commercially sharp, Pan-India Sales & Marketing leader for the Indian automotive ecosystem โ€” someone equally at home in an OEM boardroom and on the road with a 35-member team. THE BASICS Experience: 20 years total | 8โ€“12 years in Automotive Sales & Marketing (mandatory) Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (Mech/Auto) + MBA Marketing preferred Team: 35-member Sales & Marketing team | Scope: Pan-India | OEMs + Tier-1s + Aftermarket WHAT YOU'LL OWN Pan-India sales strategy โ€” OEMs, Tier-1s, and aftermarket; revenue, forecasting & pricing Key account & distributor relationships with procurement heads across the auto ecosystem Brand narrative, GTM for new products/segments, and B2B marketing collateral Trade show leadership โ€” Auto Expo, ACMA, Automechanika; visibility with SIAM & CII Auto Market intelligence โ€” competitor tracking, OEM volumes, demand signals Build, mentor and drive a 35-member team to consistently hit targets WHAT WE NEED 8โ€“12 yrs in automotive / auto components Sales & Marketing โ€” non-negotiable Deep knowledge of Indian auto OEMs (Maruti, Tata, M&M, Bajaj, Honda) and Tier-1 supply chains Proven Pan-India sales leadership with measurable revenue and team-building track record B2B product marketing skills โ€” technical-to-commercial storytelling, collateral creation Active network in ACMA, SIAM, or OEM/Tier-1 procurement circles
