Marketing and DTC Coordinator
Overstory
Job Description
Join Overstory as our Marketing & DTC Coordinator in Margaret River and help bring marketing campaigns to life across digital and physical touchpoints.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in marketing, wine, hospitality or tourism who is looking to build or broaden their experience across a range of marketing disciplines within a growing premium wine business.
If you love the idea of marketing that goes beyond sitting behind a screen - where one day might involve coordinating a content shoot, the next launching an email campaign, updating a website, supporting an event or getting an award-winning wine in front of the right audience - this could be the opportunity for you.
What’s In It For You
This is a rare opportunity to join a business committed to wine, sustainability, and community, while building hands-on experience across a genuinely diverse marketing landscape.
Competitive salary range, based on experience.
Rare opportunity to shape the future of a growing wine and hospitality brand.
Work across multiple premium wine and hospitality brands, giving you exposure to different audiences, channels and marketing opportunities.
Work with a passionate, innovative team in a sustainability-driven business.
Be part of something truly unique – the chance to make a lasting impact in the wine and tourism sector for this growing brand.
About the Role
We are looking for someone who thrives on making things happen – who can take a marketing plan, campaign, or idea and help turn it into something people actually see, read, click, visit, and engage with.
Reporting to our Digital Marketing Manager and working closely with our venue teams and external partners, you’ll support marketing activity across Wayfinder, Small Wonder and Swell Season - helping coordinate everything from digital campaigns and content to tourism promotions, wine awards and events.
The Marketing Coordinator will:
Bring marketing campaigns to life across digital, content, e-commerce, tourism, events and in-venue experiences.
Create and coordinate engaging content across websites, email and social media, including supporting photography and videography projects.
Support promotions, product launches and customer campaigns across Overstory’s portfolio of wine and hospitality brands.
Coordinate tourism marketing, partnerships, wine show entries and reviewer submissions to help get our brands and wines in front of the right audiences.
Develop and coordinate marketing collateral, from digital assets and wine information through to menus, signage and promotional materials.
Work closely with internal teams and external partners to keep campaigns, projects and marketing activity moving from idea to delivery.
About You
You are someone who enjoys the creative side of marketing, but you also know that great marketing doesn’t happen without someone keeping track of the details behind it.
You might already have a couple of years under your belt in marketing, or your experience might come from wine, hospitality or tourism with strong exposure to marketing along the way. Either way, you’re keen to broaden your experience rather than be boxed into one tiny corner of marketing.
You’re organised enough to keep deadlines moving, curious enough to spot a good content opportunity, confident enough to write engaging copy and proactive enough to get things done without needing every next step mapped out for you.
Our new team member will bring:
1-3 years’ experience in marketing, digital marketing, wine, hospitality, tourism or a related role.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple campaigns, projects and deadlines without losing sight of the details.
Good written communication skills, with the ability to contribute to email campaigns, social content and website copy.
A proactive, resourceful approach and the confidence to take ownership of your work with clear direction and support.
A genuine interest in wine, food, hospitality, tourism or premium consumer brands.
A collaborative approach and willingness to work across teams, brands and external partners.
Experience with social media, website content or email marketing platforms will be highly regarded.
Wine industry knowledge, wine show or reviewer submission experience, or qualifications such as WSET would be an advantage - but aren’t essential.
A current and valid Driver’s Licence.
A marketing qualification is welcome, but it isn’t the deciding factor - relevant experience, capability and the right approach matter more.
Given the nature of the business, it is important that you have a passion for sustainability and a commitment to working in an eco-conscious organisation.
