Job Description

Some companies need people who can write.

We’re looking for someone who can’t help it.

The kind of person who notices when a headline could be stronger, rewrites sentences in their head while reading websites and understands that the right choice of words can change how people think, feel and act.

Because that’s exactly what a good copy does.

Over 14 years ago, we started Capital Placement with a simple belief: talent is everywhere, but opportunity isn’t.

Since then, we’ve helped thousands of students launch international careers by connecting them with more than 5,000 employers across London, Singapore, New York and beyond. Every day, our work changes careers, broadens horizons and opens doors that once seemed out of reach.

Now we’re looking for another storyteller to help us tell that story.

This isn’t an internship where you’ll spend three months writing social media captions that nobody reads or proofreading someone else’s work.

You’ll be working with some of the smartest people solving this problem, while helping to shape the voice of a company redefining how students find international opportunities. You’ll write content that reaches hundreds of thousands of students, graduates, universities and employers worldwide and learn how great copy drives SEO, builds brands and influences decisions.

Most importantly, you’ll spend three months becoming a significantly better writer.

This is a three‑month internship with the opportunity to convert into a full‑time Copywriting Associate role based on performance.

What you’ll do

Writing won’t be one small part of your internship. It will be the internship.

You’ll:

  • Play a crucial part in our blog strategy, creating original articles for Capital Placement and high‑authority external publications that strengthen our brand and grow our organic reach.
  • Research emerging trends in graduate careers, employability, AI, international work experience and higher education to uncover stories worth telling.
  • Turn complex ideas into clear, engaging content that people genuinely want to read.
  • Help shape our brand voice across websites, campaigns, landing pages, email marketing and sales collateral.
  • Write persuasive copy for Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta and other paid channels where every word has a measurable impact.
  • Work alongside our SEO specialists to create content that’s loved by both readers, search engines and LLMs.
  • Brainstorm campaign concepts, messaging frameworks and value propositions with the wider marketing team.
  • Use research and audience insights to create content that answers real questions rather than adding more noise to the internet.

We’re looking for someone who…

…loves writing enough to care about getting it right.

You might be a third‑year student or a recent graduate, but more importantly you’re someone who enjoys the craft of writing.

You probably recognise yourself in some of these:

  • You developed your writing skills before AI became everyone’s first draft. Today you use AI to work smarter—not to do the thinking for you.
  • You understand tone, rhythm and storytelling, and know that great writing often comes from ruthless editing.
  • You naturally spot awkward wording, unnecessary jargon and sentences that simply don’t flow.
  • You’re curious and enjoy researching topics you’ve never encountered before and turning them into engaging content.
  • You can juggle multiple deadlines without sacrificing quality.
  • You actively seek feedback because you know good writing is rewritten writing.
  • You’re proactive, resourceful and comfortable taking ownership of your work.

What we offer

  • Structured mentoring from experienced marketers and copywriters
  • Continuous learning and professional development
  • A fully remote international team spanning eight countries
  • Real ownership and responsibility from the beginning
  • Opportunity to convert into a full‑time Associate role based on your performance
