Job DescriptionManufacturing Engineer Excellent opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a thriving company in Co. Clare. The Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in driving material and production efficiencies and minimizing cost and lead time across multiple value streams serving our Client's diverse global customer base.
Key Responsibilities: Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity, improve quality, and reduce cost Work closely with operational resources to achieve business goals and support strategic projects related to assigned Value Stream. Responsible for driving improvement in material yields and reduction in scrap for assigned value streams. Identify new processes and provide technical support for developing process documents and equipment troubleshooting guidelines.
Collect and communicate key process indicators that drive increased operational stability and identify opportunities for improvement. Provide leadership and technical discipline by using six sigma and lean manufacturing principles to plan and implement robust processes. Lead/implement capital projects for business area to support process improvements.
Directly support successful implementation of new products in high mix/low volume line at or below target cost and lead time Key Requirements: Degree in Mechanical, or Materials Science Engineering or related discipline is required Experience in change management, lean daily management, and high mix/low volume production environment a plus Ideally 2 plus years experience in manufacturing/process engineering role Experience in machining applications specifically: WEDM or laser processing is desirable For further information please contact Loretta Flynn INDPERM Skills: Manufacturing engineer process engineer lean manufacturing six sigma TPBN1_IJ
