Job DescriptionUnijobs on behalf of our public sector client currently have a requirement for a suitably skilled Finance Manager to join their Chief Information Security Office (CISO). This is a temporary position; the initial contract duration is for 12 months with the possibility of extension thereafter. This position can be based in either Dublin or Limerick on a hybrid model.

Based off a 35-hour work week the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate of โ‚ฌ33.52 based off an annualised salary of โ‚ฌ61,219.00 and will accrue 30 days' annual leave per year along with public holidays. *Applicants must be eligible to work in Ireland at the time of application* Overview of the post: As a key member of the CISO office, the Finance Manager will oversee the cybersecurity budget including financial reporting and forecasting Work closely with the CISO PMO and Business Manager to administer and report on cyber spend Collaborate closely with project and programme managers to track, validate and manage expenditure Provide proactive financial support and guidance to the CISO PMO team Work with key internal and external stakeholders to monitor and forecast expenditure Responsible for the completion of monthly financial reconciliations, monitoring and analysing expenditure, and preparing financial and management reports to support decision-making by the Senior Leadership Team. Prepare and maintain prepayments and accruals to support accurate monthly financial reporting. Prepare expenditure forecasts to support budgeting, financial planning, and decision-making.

Produce ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as required by senior management May be assigned a portfolio of projects or work packages, depending on project stage and workload requirements, to ensure optimal use of expertise and continuity throughout the contract Undertake any additional duties deemed appropriate by senior management Experience: Must have Experience of financial analysis/reporting within a large complex organisation encompassing direct engagement with internal and external stakeholders Experience of financial reporting, forecasting and budget management A working knowledge of Sap or equivalent ERP system Strong understanding of month-end close activities, including ledger review, reconciliations and variance investigation Experienced and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite of applications including an advanced competency in Excel Qualified Accountant, Part-Qualified Accountant, or Accounting Technician qualification with relevant work experience. *This position may be subject to Garda Vetting and Foreign Police Clearance, if applicable you will be required to obtain these prior to commencing in this role* Unijobs is an equal opportunities employer Skills: budget financial reporting forecasting accountancy Benefits: 30 days AL + Bank Holidays TPBN1_IJ
