At launch, it will offer six programmes: four-year undergraduate degrees in Computing, Data Science, Economics, and Business Management, along with one-year master’s degrees in Artificial Intelligence and Business Administration. We are seeking a dynamic and relationship‑driven Manager/Sr Manager Faculty Relations to serve as a critical liaison between academic staff, university leadership, and administrative teams. The role ensures smooth faculty onboarding, engagement, performance coordination, workload planning, and compliance with academic governance and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities Faculty Engagement & Coordination Serve as the primary point of contact for all faculty-related matters. Facilitate communication between academic faculty and university leadership, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of concerns. Coordinate faculty orientation and onboarding processes, ensuring new faculty are effectively integrated into academic, administrative, and institutional frameworks.
Academic Operations & Faculty Support Coordinate teaching schedules, workload distribution, and academic calendars in collaboration with programme heads. Support faculty in accessing teaching resources, classroom technology, academic systems, and administrative assistance. Assist with research support processes including grant coordination, compliance submissions, and academic documentation.
Performance & Professional Development Support academic performance review processes aligned with global university standards. Coordinate faculty development programmes, workshops, and training sessions. Assist in identifying skill gaps and development needs across teaching and research functions.
Policy, Compliance & Governance Ensure adherence to academic governance frameworks and quality assurance standards. Maintain accurate faculty records, contracts (appointments, renewals, adjunct/visiting engagements, and contractual agreements), compliance documentation, and regulatory submissions. Support accreditation-related requirements (UGC, AICTE, international partners as applicable).
Culture, Welfare & Institutional Support Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that supports faculty wellbeing. Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration and information flow. Organise faculty events, community-building initiatives, and academic retreats.
Strategic Projects Support the Provost and academic leadership on special projects related to academic staffing, global faculty collaborations, and new programme launches. Analyze faculty data, feedback, and academic metrics to support decision-making. Required Skills · Relationship Management: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with faculty and academic leaders. · Academic Administration: Strong understanding of teaching operations, faculty needs, and university frameworks. · Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. · Problem-Solving: Ability to address faculty concerns with tact, responsiveness, and confidentiality. · Organizational Skills: Strong planning, coordination, and follow-through abilities. · Data & Reporting: Ability to analyse faculty workload, performance data, and academic metrics. · Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with academic systems, LMS platforms, HRIS tools, and workflow tools. · Collaboration: Ability to work with cross-functional teams including HR, IT, Academic Affairs, and Finance.
Required Qualifications · Bachelors degree in Education or a related field. · Minimum 5+ years of experience in faculty relations, academic administration, higher education operations, or HR roles supporting academic staff.
