Line Cook — Bar Lento

Bar Lento, an Italian bistro located at 158 8th Avenue in New York City, is looking for an experienced and motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team.

We are a true Italian bistro focused on authentic Italian cuisine, quality ingredients, and traditional techniques. We are looking for a cook who has a genuine familiarity with Italian cooking and is excited to be part of a professional, collaborative kitchen.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional kitchen experience
• Previous experience with Italian cuisine
• Strong knowledge of kitchen fundamentals and food preparation
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented, reliable, and professional attitude
• Full-time availability

Schedule

Our restaurant is open:

• Sunday–Thursday: 4:00 PM–10:00 PM
• Friday–Saturday: 4:00 PM–11:00 PM

The kitchen will always close one hour before the restaurant closes.
