Overview
In this role you will act as a strategic partner for NHS networks in oncology/haematology, driving improvements in patient pathways and service delivery. You will operate with autonomy, building credibility with senior clinical stakeholders and shaping local service design and access. The position focuses on transforming healthcare delivery within specialist cancer care, not traditional sales, offering impact at system level.
You will collaborate across Medical, Market Access and Commercial teams to implement high-impact account plans. This is a chance to influence patient outcomes and transform local oncology services.
Responsibilities- Build strategic relationships with Consultant Haematologists, Oncologists, Pharmacists, Service Managers and Commissioners
- Identify opportunities to improve patient access and optimise treatment pathways
- Support service design, redesign and implementation initiatives
- Lead complex stakeholder engagement across NHS organisations
- Develop and execute high-impact account plans
- Partner closely with Medical, Market Access and Commercial teams
- Strong Oncology, Haematology or Haem-Oncology experience
- Proven Key Account Management capability within specialist care
- Experience of NHS partnership working, local market access and pathway development
- Track record of supporting service redesign, implementation or healthcare transformation projects
- Scientific credibility to engage with knowledgeable clinical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently, own a territory and operate in a consultative manner
