Job Summary: The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing and executing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engage audiences, and drive customer acquisition and retention. They will oversee the management and optimisation of social media platforms, content creation, community management, and data analysis to ensure effective and successful social media campaigns. The Social Media Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align social media initiatives with overall marketing and business objectives.
Responsibilities:
1. Strategy Development:
Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with the organisation's marketing goals and target audience.
Identify key social media platforms and channels to reach the target audience effectively.
Conduct research and stay updated on social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
2. Content Creation and Management:
Create engaging and relevant content for social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and interactive elements.
Develop and maintain an editorial calendar for consistent content publishing and campaign scheduling.
Collaborate with the design team to ensure visually appealing and brand-aligned content.
Monitor and moderate user-generated content and engage with the audience in a timely and professional manner.
3. Social Media Platform Management:
Manage and optimise social media accounts and profiles, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.
Monitor social media metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and content performance.
Stay updated on platform-specific features, algorithms, and advertising opportunities to maximise reach and engagement.
Implement social media advertising campaigns, including budget management, targeting, and performance tracking.
4. Community Engagement and Influencer Collaboration:
Foster and grow online communities by actively engaging with followers, responding to comments, and addressing inquiries or concerns.
Identify and collaborate with relevant influencers and brand advocates to amplify reach and build brand advocacy.
Develop and execute influencer marketing campaigns to drive engagement and generate user-generated content.
5. Performance Analysis and Reporting:
Track and analyse social media metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate campaign success and make data-driven decisions.
Prepare regular reports presenting campaign performance, audience insights, and recommendations for optimisation.
- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to identify opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly.
Salary - Between Rs. 22,000 - Rs. 28,000 per month
