ECO Matrix Solutions is a technology-driven energy modeling firm based in Nagpur, dedicated to

enhancing building performance through data-driven design. Our proprietary SaaS platform delivers

energy analysis, design optimization, and code compliance modeling for buildings across North America.

As part of our growing service portfolio, we are building an in-house team for MEP and fire protection

system modeling. We're currently looking for a junior BIM Modeler to support our U.S. and Canadian

projects by developing high-quality MEP models across various building types and phases.

Job Summary

We are hiring an junior BIM Modeler with a background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

The ideal candidate will work on a variety of MEP modeling projects in Autocad and Revit which includes

fire fighting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and 3D modeling from point cloud data; both for new

and existing building projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop detailed and accurate MEP BIM models for:

·        Electrical systems: Lighting layouts, single line diagrams (SLDs), DB schedules, conduit

routing

·        Plumbing: Water supply and drainage systems

·        Fire Fighting: Sprinkler systems, pipe routing, equipment layout

·        HVAC: Ductwork, chilled/hot water piping, equipment coordination

2. Convert point cloud data or 2D scans into detailed 3D BIM models

3. Create models to various LOD standards (LOD 100–500) per project needs

4. Generate construction documentation, detail views, and resolve design/modeling issues

5. Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders for design coordination

6. Support quality control and ensure all deliverables meet established BIM standards

7. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior modelers, where applicable

8. Support internal initiatives aimed at developing new service verticals or offerings, including feasibility assessments, technical R&D, pilot projects, and documentation that supports commercialization of such services.

Required Qualifications & Skills

·        2 to 3 years of experience in MEP BIM modeling

·        Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD

·        Understanding of building electrical and mechanical systems

·        Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred

·        Hands-on experience in modeling electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems

·        Experience with point cloud to 3D BIM modeling workflows

·        Understanding of BIM LOD progression (LOD 100 to 500)

·        Strong collaboration and communication skills

·        Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
