Overview

Mastercard Payment Gateway Service (MPGS) is seeking a passionate and innovative Front-End Software Engineer with strong expertise in React and Java, including Spring Boot applications. As part of an agile and dynamic team, you will build and maintain cutting‑edge customer‑facing solutions that are scalable and secure. Your work will contribute to exceptional user experiences and the future of digital payments.

Role

• Design and develop dynamic, user‑friendly, responsive user interfaces using React.
• Leverage strong knowledge of Java/J2EE, Spring, JPA, and RDBMS to better understand back‑end processes and contribute to back‑end development, troubleshooting, and debugging when necessary.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure web applications are visually appealing, intuitive, and easy to use.
• Implement reusable, maintainable front‑end components.
• Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives) to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including product management, QA, and stakeholders to align with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–5 years of experience in front‑end development, with a basic understanding of back‑end technologies.

Knowledge / Experience (Preferred)

• Strong expertise in React & Java, and Spring Boot for back‑end.
• Proven experience building complex web applications from scratch.
• Experience with TypeScript and modern front‑end build tools (Webpack, Babel).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of version control tools (Git).
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Good experience with Java programming.
